About Theresa:
Hi! My name is Theresa and I am Filipina and British/Scottish descent living as a guest in Mechoopa Maidu territory. I am a care-giver, a song carrier, and an advocate. And I invest my time and labor for community care through Traditional Ecological Knowledge programs, Mutual Aid networks, AAPI Community support circles, and other areas of intersectional solidarity.
I facilitate Compassionate Resilience & Somatic Skills groups locally and am passionately committed to mutual aid and solidarity work. I encourage connection to self, ancestry, the land and community through therapeutic methods using movement, sound and guided somatic imagery to engage the knowledge of the body within an interactive and liberatory arts practice.
